I have a full mattress made with this same material, and wanted to have a similar mattress in another room, but needed a cheaper solution. I put this on top of a firm foam mattress and it's delightful. The gel "squish" seems less "deep" as it's just the topper, but it's still very comfortable and solves my major complaint about foam mattresses (the insulating nature of the foam makes is humid and hot, this topper is way more cool with better airflow than the mattress alone)
As for the product, it's just okay. As for the experience with the company - first, make sure you definitely want the product before ordering. Once you hit the Buy button there is no cancelling. I tried to cancel literally minutes after ordering. They show a customer service phone number, but no one answers - it's just a recording. Email does work, but slow. They say there offer a satisfaction guarantee, but the caveat is you will pay the shipping cost back to them. The product weighs 70 lbs. Oh, and the tariff.. if you live in U.S. expect an additional bill from Fedex Canada customs a week or so after you receive the product. My bill was $112. My advice, check out reddit threads before ordering.
The mattress topper arrived in good condition. It seems like a well made, quality mattress. It adds a nice level of comfort but support to the mattress.
The topper has a crease in the middle likely when they glued two pieces together which is annoying. The topper easily slides around on your mattress until you strap it down tight. The topper is more firm than soft and I would not call it a close knock off to the Purple mattress grid which this product is imitating. Overall its just OK, but I would not recommend if you are looking to find a cheap Purple alternative.
